Thank You, May!
The last light of May danced her way off Earth’s stage last night. She slipped out with grace and goodness, twirling with a lightness that was tender and all-embracing. She kindly left the Earth with an abundance of gorgeous blooms and fragrant spring memories. She was so light and so present that it was as if she simply melted into June.
May fell in love with the Sun. She wanted to see herself reflected in his warmth and she wanted to linger in his presence. But she knew her fate. She knew that at midnight she would vanish. Perhaps, if the gods were with her, she would return next year but she also knew there were no guarantees. In the meantime, she would treasure her gift to exist and let the calendar page roll over. She would be her bravest self and accept, with gratitude, the world as it is.
(If those last two sentences hold familiar words, you must appreciate Stephen Colbert as much as I do)

Beautiful!
Beau photos, Gracie.
