I wore a cast and then a surgical boot from late September until early February. My mobility was clearly limited and I could get quite discouraged. I went to the grocery store one morning shortly after I was released from the boot. One of the clerks caught me by surprise when she gave me the biggest smile and a hearty, “Look at you go!” comment. I felt seen and acknowledged for the previous months of struggle.
Yes, just lovely! And so true. Seek out and look for the glimmers and make sure to notice and appreciate them. I love the story of the young man, old man, and dog. :)
Our last week was filled with “ glimmers”! Not always realized at the exact glimmering moment as we traveled across our Nation and back , but upon reading your lovely piece, we’re reminded at the exact moment when we were saved from an emotional breakdown “just because” a glimmer moment saved us. So much fun now to be reminded of each one. We savor them and remind ourselves to know in our souls that like “angels” glimmers could pop up any moment!!!
I love these every day acts of humanity at our best.
Beautiful and true. Have a great day!

Thank you for being there and giving me glimmers regularly.
Dear Graciewilde,

Love it! Wishing us all many glimmers...
Welcome reading Gracie! Thanks. Non nobis solum sed totimundo natis. Non sibi, sed toti.
