Thank you. Sandy! I like imaging the months as people. I know it's silly but that gives the days personality! As if they need anything more than exactly what they are...)
Thank YOU, for paying attention, Switter. I like that attnetion to whimsy and beauty. Life is too short to just be serious. How's the PCP treating you?
That is one of the gifts of being outside and away from routines and ruts. As previously noted, I could use some of that wisdom/insight that comes with slipping away into the world of mostly nature and mostly not modern noise of all kinds. Pay attention to the silence but I don't need to tell you that.
Thank you. Murie! I hope you can let April and the hard days step aside and allow the freshness and levity of May to fill your soul. I think about you and Bob every day and the missing element in your life right now. xxx
I love roses and your lovely ode to May. At 8 or 9 I gathered(stole) flowers from the beds at an abandoned old house. The next door neighbor witnessed the crime and yelled at me. I hightailed it to church to deliver the bouquet for May crowning.
Yes! I remember as a child,, picking flowers from our own extensive yard, putting them in a jam jar, and then ringing the doorbell so my mother could open the door and act surprised at the pretty flowers. Simple days, simple pleasures.
Beautiful story❤️ And the roses❤️❤️❤️

Its helping put things in my life in perspective, which right now is very important.

My whole body left April and wrapped itself in May! What a beautiful posting Graciewilde.
With that” wrap” comes hope. I am trying to get April to take my cynicism with her.
I close my eyes and see the exquisite pictures you posted. I feel like a velvet blanket was laid over my soul.
Love you for all you spread over the world by using our very own words. May that be our reputation as a country. 🥰🌍💫
