Yes, I am seeing now that that is the gift in getting older. You are not generally so immersed in the struggles of younger years. Been there. Done that. Now there is time to put life in perspective. You, Bruce, were a pivotal part of that school community. Your advocacy for kids and your levity made all the difference to me. Here's to peaceful days in a beautiful part of the world. If only we could change the country's direction RIGHT NOW. I am losing patience there but I will show up for the demonstrations and donations.

I love this. At 70 years of age I have been saying for a while now that to be a witness is important. And, yes, we are walking each other home. Walk onward!

I didn't really realize the value of witnessing when I was younger. Now I see it as essential in my life. Thanks for reading and responding, Shana.

Thank YOU, Dave for reading and chiming in. This piece was maybe a little too personal but what the heck! Take a chance! People can close their screen if it's too much for them, right? Writing it helped me clarify my thoughts. I hope you have a peaceful weekend ahead.

“Pay attention. Be present. Love. After all, as Ram Dass said, we are all just walking each other home. I want to be consciously aware of that truth”.

You are such a sweet, wise and caring person full of wisdom. Love all of your pictures.

Oh those sweet faces of grands! Good golly Gracie. Witnessing and reporting, acting upon wrong, you continue to work for good. I think it’s being innately who you are and how you spend your time is your purpose.
